HOTDOG ON TV

by Karen T. Taha

Synopsis:

Hotdog is happy and healthy except for his allergies which make him sneeze. His favorite pastimes are eating ice cream and taking naps under the TV. But when the Doggy Yums Dog Food Company announces a search for a dog to star in their commercials, Hotdog goes for it.
Hotdog’s audition is full of surprises—the director's landing in Mr. Bean’s lap,  Hotdog heading for ice cream instead of dog food, and Hotdog's crashing into his  bowl of Doggy Yums. When Hotdog is chosen to be on TV, he is so happy, he runs around eating all the Doggy Yums. But suddenly, Hotdog begins to sneeze and sneeze. He’s allergic to Doggy Yums – goodbye, TV stardom.

Back at home, a disappointed Hotdog curls up under the television, while Mr. Beans says they still love him whether he's on or under the TV.

Then the phone rings. It’s the director with good news. They want Hotdog to star in their commercials for a new product – Doggy Yums Ice Cream!
